Partnering with member association Beltud (Association for Belgian-Turkish Friendship) Fedactio coordinates the Belgian equivalent of the International Festival for Language and Culture (IFLC). Under the name ‘Colors of the World’ a sensational show is organised, with youngsters from 5 different continents and no less than 17 countries all over the world.
‘Colors of the World’ has music, dance and poetry at its center. The festival demonstrates the willingness of artists with culturally diverse backgrounds and different mother tongues to communicate and collaborate with each other. It uses art as a medium to tackle prejudices an fear for the unknown, and it aims to promote world peace.
The initiative is under the patronage of UNESCO.
